Paying for your puppy
Deposits
A nonrefundable deposit of $250 (plus $8 to cover Paypal fees) is required to hold your puppy. Deposits determine the order in which you choose your pup: 1st deposit gets first pick, 2nd deposit gets second pick, and so on. The deposit will be applied to your purchase price. Deposits are nonrefundable and cannot be transferred to another individual. If the litter you place a deposit on does not produce the desired color or gender, the deposit can be transferred to another litter. If you are not able or refuse to fulfill your obligation as a buyer, you forfeit your deposit. All deposits expire two years from the date of payment if you have not followed through with your commitment. By placing a deposit you agree to these terms.
Silvermist Labrador Retrievers reserves the right to refuse to sell to a prospective buyer at any time without cause. Silvermist Labrador Retrievers also reserves the right to first pick of any color and any gender from all litters. We will try to keep everyone informed regarding these choices.
Deposits and payments can be made safely and securely through PayPal, with or without a Paypal account. We also accept cash or checks. However, the balance must be paid in full (checks must be cleared) before the puppy is picked up or delivered, for any method of payment. We can also accept credit and debit cards via the Paypal Here card reader.
Final payments
Final payments will vary depending on the color, type of registration, and any delivery or shipping requirements. Please contact us to receive a detailed invoice through Paypal.

*Limited Registration means that the dog is registered with the AKC, but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration. This is also known as a pet home. A dog registered with an AKC Limited Registration is also not eligible to be entered in a breed competition in a licensed or member dog show. It is eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event. We sell very few pups on Full Registration, and those are only to established breeders.
